The Marlins defeated the A's 8-4 to win the Boys Juniors Farmingdale Baseball World Series Title. The boys were led by the dominating pitching of Thomas Romano and the power hitting of Ryan Boyle and Nick Costandy.

During the season, the Marlin bats stayed very hot thanks to Romano, who batted over 700 with 5 homeruns, Boyle, who batted over 600, Dante Fioerosso and Chris Petrullo, who each batted over 500.

The Marlins received outstanding contributions during the season from Anthony Russo, Robert Molloy, John DeClemente, Chris Recco, James Fernandez, Craig Ferrara, John Bosse and Drew Kolonics.

In the playoffs, the boys came together and played great baseball over the final nine games. The team, coached by Bob Romano and Jay Boyle, used great pitching along with timely hitting and clutch defense to win the title.

Coach Romano and Boyle would like to thank all of the parents for all their support during the season.
