Edna S. Laux (nee Schielke), formerly of Massapequa, died on May 25, 2001. She was a parishioner and former church secretary at St. David Lutheran Church, Massapequa. She was predeceased in 1972 by her husband Edward. Mother of Edna Stevens, Peter and Christopher Laux. Grandmother of eight. Great-grandmother of five. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. Raymond J. Schall Sr. died on May 30, 2001. He was predeceased by his wife Florence and in December 1999 by their son, Raymond Jr. He is survived by his son, Philip; granddaughter, Alexis; and his sister, Eleanor Linda. Mary Simone, 81, lifelong resident of Bethpage, died on May 31, 2001. She was a dedicated servant and lifetime parishioner of St. Martin of Tours RC Church. During her life, Mary worked on the Altar Society, the Scouting program, as a Sunday School teacher as well as performing many other services for the church such as sewing the priest's vestments. A retiree of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Mary retired in 1986 from her job as rectory cook at St. Kilian RC Church. Sister of Anthony, Nicholas, Philomena and the late Michael. Aunt of Carol Galgano, Anthony "Buddy" Simone, Jimmy Simone, Vanessa Giallanza, the late Judith Penoyar. Also survived by 13 grandnieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F.
