  • NEWS: St. Luke's Students Participate in Hop-A-Thon For MDA

    Nursery School students at St. Luke's Lutheran Nursery School participated in a hop-a-thon last week as part of the school's sponsorship of the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Awareness and Hop-A-Thon Program. Prior to the actual hop-a-thon, students learned, in a week-long variety of lessons, the importance of helping those less fortunate than them who suffer from disabilities. FULL STORY

    On March 27, Jonathon C. Gibralter was announced as the next president of the State University of New York College at Farmingdale. The appointment was made by the board of trustees of SUNY upon the recommendation of Chancellor Robert L. King. FULL STORY

  • SPORTS: Over the Hill Gang Report

    Time is running out for our "Over the Hill Gang" Annual Golf Outing. Reservations have to be in by this weekend. We have a maximum of 72 players for this outing. It will be held this year at Mill Pond Golf Course on Monday, May 7. There will be a shotgun start of 12:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail hour and buffet dinner. There will be prizes and the event is open to all OTHG members and their guests. Fee is $125 per person for all. Call Ed Cullen at 752-7947 for reservations and directions. FULL STORY
