Library Cafe Opens on Main Street
After being vacant for nearly six years, the building on the corner of one of the busiest intersections in Farmingdale reopened as the Library Cafe in late October. The coffeehouse chose its name appropriately as the location on the corner of Main and Conklin Streets in Farmingdale was once home to the Farmingdale Public Library, which moved to Merrits Road back in 1994.

Farmingdale Runners Score in Ho Ho Ho Holiday Run
The Long Island running community celebrated the holiday season in style once again this year with the traditional Ho Ho Ho Holiday 5K run on the roads of Bethpage on Sunday, Dec. 17. Runners from the Farmingdale community were very prominent in the list of finishers.
