The Lions U-12 boys recently moved back up to the first division after finishing their season with an 8-1 record. The team is looking to add a few more players for the spring season.

The Plainedge Lions recently completed their fall campaign, finishing the season with an 8-1 record. The Division 2 team played a tough schedule with wins against Middle Country, Massapequa, Rockville Centre, W. Babylon, Smithtown, Hauppauge, Hicksville and Bellport. The only blemish was a 1-0 loss to Oceanside. The team scored a total of 26 goals while only giving up 10. The winning of the conference will allow the team to return to the first division. The Lions consists of Brendan Ashe, Gary Citrangola, Andres Echeverry, Peter Gomez, Eugenio Guillo, Nick Hadnagy, Matt Iulo, Danny Lo-Re, Steven Morales, Peter Ostrander, Willy Sinatra, Eric Sorto and Ricky Williamson. They were coached by Fernando Morales and Eugenio Guillo.

Congratulations to the team and coaches. The Lions were sponsored by H.R. Singletons Restaurant of Bethpage.
