Charles Fuschillo Jr. Seeks Second Election Win
Looking to serve a second term in the eighth Senatorial District, Republican Senator Charles J. Fuschillo Jr. is focusing his campaign on the two main issues he feels are most important: education and children. In an interview with Anton Community Newspapers earlier this week, Fuschillo said that while his primary focus is on education on Long Island, he is also concerned with keeping the economy strong. As a state senator, Fuschillo represents numerous communities in both Nassau and Suffolk County, including parts of Farmingdale, Massapequa, Wantagh and Seaford.

Democratic Candidate Jeannette Santos Hopes for Change
Focusing her campaign on changing the way funds in the state budget are distributed on Long Island, Democratic candidate for the eighth senatorial district Jeannette Santos said that the biggest recent issue that needs to be addressed on Long Island is the way that money is being managed. In a recent interview with Anton Community Newspapers, Santos said that she hopes her efforts as a senator will help evenly distribute money to schools and taxpayers on Long Island.

Friends of Farmingdale Athletics Celebrate Daler Lighting Ceremony
On the evening of Friday, Oct. 13, the Don Snyder Sports Complex at Farmingdale High School displayed their newly installed field lights for the first time during a Daler football home game against the Freeport Red Devils. This event made Farmingdale High School the first in Nassau County to have permanent, professional style lights at their sports complex.
