Congressman Peter King Seeks Re-Election
Peter King of Seaford is the United States Congressman from the Third Congressional District. He is running for re-election on the Republican ticket and is opposed by Democrat Dal LaMagna. Congressman King said that he wants to be a congressman for middle income people. "The rich people have their lobbyists and the poor generally have advocates assisting and helping them, and people who get forgotten are in the middle."
Democratic Candidate Dal LaMagna
LaMagna believes that businesses too often put profits before people. He said that it's time for elected officials to say "no more" to corporate interests, that too much taxpayer money goes into huge businesses which pay little or no taxes. LaMagna said he would like to see taxpayer money spent on quality of life issues such as the environment and education.
