Concetta Cotruzzola, 96, died on Oct. 1, 2000. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick. Cherished mother of Rosina, Lena Branca, Sr. Jerome, Joseph and Paul. Loving grandmother of Rose, Anthony, Raymond, Theresa, great-granddaughters, Nicole and Megan, and great-grandson, Drew. A prayer service was held at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with interment following at Long Island National Cemetery. Charles A. Moench died on Oct. 1, 2000. Beloved husband of Catherine. Loving father of James Moench and Monica Bockelmann. Dear brother of Barbara Tallon. Proud grandfather of five. A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, Oct. 6 at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. Joseph A. Florio of Hicksville died on Oct. 3. Predeceased in 1995 by his beloved wife, Natalie. Loving father of Thomas, Richard and Margaret Haws. Proud grandfather of nine. A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, Oct. 6 at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Hicksville, with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. Donations in Joseph's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 839 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, NY. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Gertrude M. Vosburgh of Farmingdale, died peacefully on Oct. 6, 2000. Predeceased in January 2000, by her beloved husband, Nelson. Devoted mother to her son, Bernard, daughter Kathleen and daughter-in-law, Rose. Loving grandmother of two grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. A devoted wife and mother, Gertrude made a happy home for her family. She was actively involved for many years in her church as well as more recently in the St. Kilian Senior Citizens. A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, with interment following in St. Charles Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. John F. Barone Sr., 77, of Spring Hill, FL, died May 22, 2000 at his home. He moved to Florida five years ago with his wife Dorothy. John was a Hicksville resident for 71 years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife Dorothy; daughter Cheryl Hass; son-in-law Jeff Hass of Farmingdale; daughter-in-law Joanne Barone; brother Michael Barone of Hicksville; brother Frank LaGrega of Melbourne, FL; sister Mildred Waldeck of Hicksville; granddaughters Shannon Barone of Spring Hill, FL and Jennifer Reid and her husband Patrick of Spring Hill, FL; grandson Andrew Hass of Farmingdale and great-granddaughter Chelsea Reid of Spring Hill. John will be with his son, John F. Barone Jr., who died Oct. 9 at the age of 51 at Oak Hill Hospital in Spring Hill. Logo
