Once was not enough...Michael Paz of Paz Interiors Inc. in Farmingdale is going to play 100 holes of golf in one day and is challenging others to join him.
The local businessman is one of only 36 golfers who will take to the links on Monday, Sept. 18 at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack for the sixth 100-hole challenge.
A benefit for the Arthritis Foundation, this event is a test of skill, endurance and good humor. The first 36 golfers to register and raise over $1,000 for the Arthritis Foundation will be eligible to play and to speed the five rounds along. Some of the usual rules of golf will be suspended.
A pre-event dinner hosted by David Weiss of WALK Radio (97.5 FM) and Newsday Columnist Ed Lowe, a tournament day breakfast, awards ceremony, and host of gifts are included in the event festivities.
For more information and to register for the 100 Hole Challenge call the Arthritis Foundation at 631-427-8272.
