After three days of intense competition on July 5, 6 and 8 the Farmingdale Double A Little League All-Stars battled to a 1-1-1 record.

|
The Farmingdale Double A Little League All Stars National and American Leagues.
|
The American League won the first game 10-5 by exploding for 8 runs in the 4th inning. Brandon Veraka capped the inning off with a grand slam home run. In the second game, National League jumped off to an early lead when Johnathan Delmore hit his second home run in as many days in the first inning. The National League held a 12-8 lead going into the final inning when the American League rallied to tie the game on a two-out single by Greg Coppola. Hayden Kirk retired the next batter and the game was called due to darkness.
The final game of the series was played Saturday morning. To nobody's surprise the game was an emotional roller coaster, with the kids more relaxed than the parents. The Americans again had to fight back in the 6th inning by scoring 5 runs to force the extra frame when Kyle Hummel crossed the plate on Patrick Kircher's base hit. The National League won the game in extra innings when they scored four runs in the final inning. Josh McDowell walked Joe Kennedy, Hayden Kirk and Eric Zelig contributed with consecutive hits to put the game away 14-10. Stellar defensive plays during the series were made by, Brandon Romano, Joe Kennedy, Christopher Leo, Hayden Kirk, Billy Warren, Johnathan Delmore and John Speelman.
The team extended thanks to the coaches and managers Paul Leo and Jimmy Darcy for their time and effort in making such an event possible.
