JP's Grill defeated Barco 11-7 to improve their record to 10-2. It was their sixth straight win. JP trailed until the seventh inning, when Jack Brosnan hit his second home run of the game, a two run shot, to put JP's up 8-7. John Cenuto, John Weber, Frank Horoszewski, Bob Bauman, Carl Denauski and Manny Asta had multiple hit games for the JP. The defense turned in several fine plays late in the game to cut off Barco rallies, and Frank Nardone limited Barco to two runs over the last six innings to earn the victory.

Darien Press defeated Morgan B's 19-6 to improve their record to 7-3-1. Darien's offense was led by four hits night from Tom "T" Ball (six RBIs), Rich D'Amico, Big John DeFalco and Joe Cipolla. Ageless George Krug added three clutch RBI hits and Bobby Schubert was 3 for 4 with four RBIs. Brian Tinney (HR) filled in on the mound for Kris Solberg and picked up the win as Darien moved within half a game of first place in the American League.

Moby beat Barboy to keep a strong hold on second place in the National League. A fine effort by all was reported.

Thirsty Beverage were winners over Changing Times and McCourt & Trudden kept hold of third place in the National League with a 16-15 win over J-Two.

Mers Pub has fallen on bad times with many injuries and had to forfeit their game to O'Shea's.

After four weeks (two of which rained out most of the games scheduled) and some rescheduling, the league standings look like this:
