The Farmingdale/Massapequa-based Columbus Lodge #2143 softball team (The Golden Lions) this week announced that it will participate in the Easter Seals Softball Classic 2000. John Moglia of Farmingdale has been named to the New York roster for the prestigious 2000 Governor's Bowl. One of the premier football games in the nation, the Governor's Bowl pits the preeminent high school seniors from New York against their New Jersey counterparts. Moglia and his fellow New York combatants will take on the best New Jersey has to offer on Saturday, July 8 at 4 p.m. at West Point's renowned Michie Stadium.
