Farmingdale's fifth and sixth grade Division I Girls team, the Bullets also remained unbeaten as they recently defeated West Islip 13-4. Farmingdale opened up the scoring as Ali Lauterborn took the "give and go" pass from Michelle Maier and went in for the first goal. The next series saw Michelle score the first of her four goals on an assist from Courtney Cullen. West Islip was by no means ready to lie down. They won the next several draws and scored to keep the game close. This seesaw battle continued through the first two quarters so the half ended with Farmingdale leading 5-3. The second half would prove to be entirely different game as Farmingdale's high-powered offense refused to be held down any longer.

The Bullets took control as they scored four times in the third quarter to West Islip's one goal and then added four more goals in the final quarter while their tough defense shut down the West Islip attack. Kim Miller, Nicole Juray, Denise Mulhall, Erica Masci, Maggie Grub and Justine Galgano all worked together to form a virtually impenetrable wall around the Farmingdale goal. Whenever West Islip came down into Farmingdale's defensive zone, the Bullets' persistent defenders refused to give them a good scoring opportunity. Time and again they pressured West Islip into turning over the ball. On those occasions where West Islip was able to get off a shot, Goalie Megan Hardgrove responded with tremendous saves to shut them down.

The Bullets showed depth of their offensive attack as seven different girls scored goals. Michelle Maier led the attack with four goals and four assists. Katie Dorso, Ali Lauterborn and Kim Millers each had two goals and one assist. Courtney Cullen and Ryan Quinn each had one goal and one assist and Kari Rotkin added a goal. Kristine Pullen and Terri Ann Beier also contributed to the offense.
