The Farmingdale PAL fifth and sixth grade Boys Lacrosse team started off its fist official game of the season with a 7-4 win over Glen Cove.

Leading scorer Brendan Lazarus had three goals, followed by Kyle Hoglund with two unassisted goals, and Andrew Kohlmann and Jordan Mosca each with one. Assists were contributed by Brendan with two, Andrew with two and Jordan with one. All played mid-field. Other mid-fielders included: Charlie Starke, Greg Padden, Steven Johnsen and Ryan Wilson. John Henry Geis played an outstanding defense and moved the ball well on offense.

The attack was led by Danny Penza, Mike O'Halleran, Chris Rogers, Scott Zachmann, Nick Ryan an Robert Garone, all whom contributed to the offense.

The defense was played by Anthony Venezia, Pat Santoro and Joe Hegmann. Mitch Dittmar played like a veteran goalie, even though he is a first year player.

Coaches John Starke, Terry Rogers and John Penza congratulate the boys on a job well done.
