The Pre-K and Kindergarten grade divisions start their program indoors in June. All of the other divisions; Rookie first, second and third grade (Pitching Machine), fourth grade through high school baseball and Girls Softball follow in July through the end of August.
The goal of this program is to offer more players the opportunity to participate, learn the game and most of all to have some fun. Sportsmanship and teamwork are key elements of each workout, most coaches believe in this goal as they volunteer their time and energy to the youth of the community.
Any moms, dads, aunts, uncles, or grandparents that are interested in being a positive role model are welcome to register. The Farmingdale PAL sponsors eight other programs during the year. For more information on baseball or any other PAL program, call the PAL clubhouse at 249-6825, Officer Frank McDonald can help you.
