The Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale wishes to thank Mayor Trudden for the praise and recognition he extended to us in a recent editorial concerning our posting of American flags in the Town of Farmingdale. However accolades should also be given to our caring merchants who have supported our flag program for many years. We have been flying American flags along Main and Conklin Streets since October 1971 on every legal holiday and on special requests. We are now entering our 29th year and are very proud of this record.
