Joseph M. Rup, of N. Massapequa, died on March 26, 2000. He was born March 16, 1915 in Brooklyn to Martin and Anna Rup. He attended New Utrecht and Ft. Hamilton High Schools and Pratt Institute. He worked for the US Navy at the Brooklyn Navy Yard during WWII. He was retired from Unisys Corp. He was predeceased by his wife, Kay, and his daughter Marilyn. Father of Joseph (Carol) and Roberta. Brother of Stan (Genevieve). Grandfather of Christopher (Janice), Mark (Michelle) and Tracy (Ted) Emmert. Great-grandfather of Casey, Tyler, Dylan, Jake and Grady.
