Somehow I feel all Americans should be calling their legislators and the president to insist that the SOA, School of the Americas, be banished from our soil.

Recently 10,000 Americans commemorated the tenth anniversary of the murder of six priests, four nuns, the priests' housekeeper and her daughter in El Salvador. Murdered by Salvadorian troops led by officers trained at the notorious School of the Americas, in Fort Benning, Georgia. We must protest vigorously against the alliance of the US and Latin American military.

Why, you ask? Because the US Army and the Latin American military have diametrically opposite missions. The US Army trains soldiers to kill and capture foreign enemies.

Unfortunately, the current history has proven that the mission of the Latin American military is not to kill and capture foreign enemies, but to kill its own citizens.

Why should millions of US tax dollars be spent to give combat training to foreign military who violently interfere in domestic affairs of their countrymen.

SOA foreign graduates embarrass the US veterans. It is time to call your legislator and demand abolishment of this training.
