Just a short note to publicly praise the Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale for its untiring efforts in promoting patriotism during the holidays. Each year the Kiwanis Club places flags along Main Street to celebrate our nation's holidays.

The flag is the symbol of our country and serves as a remembrance of the freedoms we enjoy in America.

The Kiwanis Club finances the cost of the flags through many contributions received each year. I encourage all to support this program to assure the continued presence of the red, white and blue.
