Jeannette Kimball Ketcham, 99, of Farmingdale, died on Jan. 20, 2000. She was a graduate of Brushton High School, Central City Business School, Syracuse, and NYS College for Teachers, Albany. Mrs. Ketcham was a teacher at Farmingdale High School from 1927 to 1964. On June 29, 1940 she married Harry M. Ketcham. He passed away in 1957. Mrs. Ketcham was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also predeceased by all her siblings, Samuel Kimball, Naomi Dodd, Esther Dales and her cherished friend and companion, her sister, Mary Ruth Kimball. Mrs. Ketcham is survived by her cousin Hollis Hasting (Debra) and their children and grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A Mass was held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with Fr. David B. Hoopes presiding. Interment Amityville Cemetery.
Donald M. Costello, 67, died on Jan. 24, 2000. He was a business manager of Hearst Business Publishing, Garden City. Husband of Lois. Father of Margaret Buonsignore, Donna Conway, Nancy Raynor, Donald Jr. and Jennifer Costello. Grandfather of Kenna, Connor and Griffin Conway, Kelsey and Jacqueline Raynor, Joseph and Jake DeNicol and Riley Costello. Father-in-law of James J. Conway III and Jed Raynor. Nelson J. Vosburgh, of Farmingdale, died on Jan. 25, 2000. He was a dedicated employee for 42 years at Grumman Aerospace Corp., a scout master for many years, and an active participant in St. Kilian Senior Citizens. Husband for 60 years to Gertrude. Father of Bernard and Kathleen. Father-in-law of Rose. Grandfather of two. Great-grandfather of two. Also survived by four of five brothers, Sherley Jr. , Eugene, Lloyd and Donald and two of four sisters, Elaine Scace and Rita Kanz. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home.
