Helen A. Monz, 90, of Farmingdale, died on Dec. 16, 1999. Wife of the late Frank. Aunt of Helen Engelhart, Joan Meyerhoefer, Carol Storz, Lois Stueck, Janet Alt, Barbara Reiders, Albert Wehner, Charles Hillicke, Pater Osternsman and Walter Hillicke. Aunt of 41 grandnieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home. Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Kilian's RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 655 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, NY 11702.

Alice Whelan, 88, of Pensacola formerly of Farmingdale, died on Jan. 5, 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Whelan. Mrs. Whelan was born in Clayton-Le-Moors, England. Both she and her husband and son came to the US in 1952.

After he husband's passing, Mrs. Whelan came to live with her son and daughter-in-law, first in Hawaii and finally Pensacola. Mrs. Whelan was a volunteer for Sacred Heart Hospital, working in the gift shop. She was also a member of the British West Floridians

She is survived by her son, Peter; daughter-in-law, Camille; and two grandsons, Michael and Christopher and their wives, Kristy and Keyll. She also has three great-grandchildren, Danielle, Alisha and Chandler; and one brother, Harry of Calvert, England.

A memorial service was held on Jan. 8 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Father Paul White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Bobbye K. Posillico (nee Pardue) died on Jan. 6, 2000. Wife of Alfred C. Mother of Cheryl Chapman and Sandra Devine. Sister of Wendell and Ray Pardue. Grandmother of Alexandra Caparros, Maddy, Rebecca and Rory Devine. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Religious service with Pastor Eldon J. Simpson presiding. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Robert G. Barrett, of Massapequa, died on Jan. 6, 2000. Husband of Grace Duffy. Son of Walter T. and Mildred Barrett. Brother of Barbara Wyatt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral and American Legion services. Cremation private.
