Farmingdale Village Mayor Joseph Trudden (back row, center) and Farmingdale Village Trustees Dr. Benjamin Giminaro (right of mayor), Vincent Sotis second right of mayor) and Michael Kelly (back row, second from right) helped cut the ribbon at a recent dedication ceremony for the new scoreboard at Howitt Junior High School. The scoreboard was donated to the school by the Farmingdale Hawks, who sold cheesecakes to raise funds for the new addition.

Several local elected officials and members of the Hawks coaching staff along with several players and cheerleaders were also present to mark the occasion.
