The Farmingdale under-8 boys soccer team went undefeated during a Columbus Day weekend tournament, beating West Islip, New Hyde Park, Terryville and Floral Park.

At the trophy ceremony, held by the East Islip Soccer Club, the team was introduced as "Team Dynamite".

The offense, led by Keith Hadnagy, Chris Vinberg, and Willie Manny, combined for 17 goals. Mark Ortiz, Jonathan Delmore and Anthony Ostrander each added one.

The defense, which was equally as tough, was led by Anthony Ostrander, Chris Leo, Billy Warren and Patrick Reilly.

"The boys played well on Saturday," said Coach Bill Manny. "And they even played better in the rain on Sunday. With great passes and good defense, they dominated their opponents. I want to thank all of the children and parents for participating."
