The undefeated Farmingdale Hawks Football Peanuts White Team (5-6-year-olds) continues its winning ways at 5-0-1.

Led by head Coach Anthony Brescia, the team played the Seaford Stallions on Sunday, Oct. 17 to an 18 to 6 victory. Quarterback Cody Janicek, led by offensive Coaches Gregg Kanetis and John Starke, inspired the offensive team to score 3 touchdowns and a total of 259 offensive yards. Scoring touchdowns were running backs Chris Rothstein (61 yds.), Carl Brescia (32 yds.) and Andrew Bungert (40 yds.). Chewing up extra yardage when it counted was Travis Schelhorn and Kevin Wahl, along with the excellent line play of Patrick Starke, Lucas Gianino and Tori Penn.

The defense, coached by Rob Schelhorn and Ron Rothstein, had several highlights. Carl Brescia had 7 tackles and 4 quarterback sacks by linebackers Kevin Wahl and Lucas Gianino. Also contributing to the defensive, as well as the offensive effort, were Ryan Kanetis and Brendon Schelhorn.
