$38 Million Bond Vote Planned for Oct. 19 --
Farmingdale School District administrators, school board members, and parent leaders are appealing to the local community to support a proposed $38.5 million bond that would fund a major overhaul of the district's buildings.

The Farmingdale Hawks 11-year-old team started their season off with a hard fought win over a difficult Elmont Cardinal team 20-12. Farmingdale was the first to strike after Lance Stuart ran a 30-yard sweep to get the Hawks inside the 10-yard line.
