On June 4 I wrote a letter to the Farmingdale Observer in reference to the fine job being done by The Asplundh Co. at Main Street and Fulton (Rte. 109) in the Inc. Village of Farmingdale. I still feel that it's a fine job, but find it hard to understand why the work has come to a complete halt since Memorial Day weekend. I don't believe it is the fault of Asplundh Co., as they have done a wonderful job. It even appeared that they were ahead of schedule.

I personally have witnessed several potential accidents at this intersection during the last two months. Right now this is a dangerous intersection.

I hope that the residents of the Inc. Village, as well as its visitors, don't have to wait another two months or longer for this project to be completed.

Theodore G. Dorfmeister Sr.

Resident, Inc. Village of Farmingdale
