Nicholas Lucadamo, 82, formerly of Bethpage, died on July 12, 1999. He grew up in Bensonhurst and graduated from James Madison High School. He worked as a mechanic in a garage operated by his father and then served in the Army during WWII receiving the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. He drove a garbage truck for the NYC Sanitation Dept. and later cleaned planes for Pan American. Husband of the late Mary (Marra). Father of Michael, Nicholas and Richard. Brother of Joseph and Frank Lucadamo, Gloria Jacilla and Charlotte D'Achille. Grandfather of five. A Remembrance Mass was held at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Selden.
