St. Kilian's 15-year-old Farmingdale Athletics will be playing in the PONY Baseball Tournament this upcoming Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Athletics were awarded the bid into this tournament by the Federation of Amateur Baseball League (FABL). It is their winning record, which has them in second place within their league, which has earned them this bid. These games will be played locally within the Farmingdale/Massapequa area with the Athletics competing in the 16 and under division. Their division will consist of teams from Long Island and Brooklyn.

Players for the Athletics include Matt Bayen, Mike Cerar, Steve Gagliardi, Dan Gross, Chris Hart, Matt Heenan , John Hughes, Rich Kerr, Pat Manganaro, Chris Perez, Anthony Petrella, Tim Treubig, Chris Viscuso and Joe Viscuso. Their coaching staff consists of Jim Hickey, Kevin Bayen, John Heenan and Bill Treubig.
