On Wednesday, Dec. 9, the Senior Citizens of Farmingdale, Inc. were given a wonderful treat by the Farmingdale High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America. They are a student club at Farmingdale High School, headed by their advisors Ms. Stacey Glazer and Ms. Donna Scheurer.

This holiday party was enjoyed by all the senior citizens at our meeting room in the Farmingdale Library. These students are to be commended for all the time and efforts they put into this annual event. They brought in all kinds of desserts, homemade and store-bought, and served them to all who were there. They also presented each senior with a lovely poinsettia.

These are young people to be admired and greatly appreciated, for they are our future. We hope that they will be as happy the rest of their lives as they made all of us that day. Our heartfelt thanks to the Future Business Leaders of America and to their advisors.

"Young at Heart" Norma Kornfeld

Farmingdale Public Schools Director and District Coordinator of Senior Citizen Activities
