The Incorporated Village of Farmingdale is celebrating its unprecedented record of holding the line on taxes for 10 consecutive years. No other village in New York State has accomplished this. You are cordially invited to attend a breakfast reception on Monday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. in Village Hall at 361 Main Street in Farmingdale.
At the event, the Nassau County Village Officials Association will present Farmingdale Village with the first ever Best Practices of Village Government award, in recognition of this achievement. Open to all 64 incorporated villages in Nassau County, the application required entrants to demonstrate initiatives implemented that improved services, decreased costs, raised the quality of life for residents or eliminated potential problems from the community.
It's a high honor to have been selected by our peers for an award of this magnitude. We would be thrilled to have you join us for this special occasion.
Joseph M. Trudden, Mayor, Village of Farmingdale
