Farmingdale High School's football team, the Dalers came away from their fifth game of the season with their third tie: 7-7 against Lawrence.

Lawrence took a lead at the beginning of the game by scoring one touchdown. The Dalers got even during the end of the second quarter. Quarterback Craig Murphy threw a 5-yard pass to Tight End Mike Bonagura. The score remained from that point on due to the consistent defensive effort of both teams.

Some key plays by Farmingdale players were 2 sacs by Lenny Pannarelli, and one by Brian Zuchelli. Senior Captain Kevin Brennan had an unexpected interception, getting posession of the ball for the Dalers.

Next week, the Dalers are up against Uniondale for Farmingdale's Homecoming. The event will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and all in the community are welcome.
