As residents and members of the legislative body of this village, we are proud of our volunteer Fire Department for sponsoring the recent Columbus Day Weekend Fair. As usual, it was enjoyed by thousands both young and old. Many firemen dedicated countless hours planning and working during the Fair.

During these four days there were no incidents and many happy faces. We see these efforts as a boost to the exposure and economy of Farmingdale, while maintaining Farmingdale's reputation as a community with vitality.

Once again, we thank our volunteer Fire Department and their families, as well as the many local organizations, the Nassau County Police, Auxiliary Police, Department of Public Works, Town of Oyster Bay, and County of Nassau for again making this event an Event.
