Ken's Fitness Centre rode the hot bats of Dom Bella and Richie Dargie to victory over Thirsty Beverage ending its winning streak at five. Barco Construction continued its winning ways with a hard-fought 13-8 win over Taormina Pizza. Clutch hitting by Jeff Elie and Artie Gotzmer and fine defense by Dennis Ryan and Gary Jambor led Barco to its sixth win.

The late games had J-2 Lounge ride a 17-hit first inning to a 22-8 win over McCourt and Trudden. Tom Giorelle, Butch Flecker, Hal Edelman and Lou Getzelman combined for a 15 for 15 game. Jerry Murtha had a perfect 4 for 4 night and Bobby Schubert crushed a long solo home run and added three hits and three RBIs for Darien.
