Dorothy M. Unterreiner, 83, died on June 26, 1998. Wife of the late Conrad (Ken). Daughter of the late Harold B. and Florence Messler. Sister of Harold B. Hagendorn, 89, died on June 26, 1998. Predeceased by her husband Charles A. Survived by her daughter Georgiana Wolf and grandchildren Pamela and Dwight. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. Mother of Patricia and Danny. Daughter of Anna and the late Wilbur Traenkle. Sister of Dennis, Kenneth, William, Buddy and Frankie. Ada Koch Kessinger, of State College, PA and formerly of Farmingdale and Vincentown, NJ, died on July 2, 1998 at the Brookline Village - The Fairways in State College. She was 84. She was born on Aug. 8, 1913 in Pennsylvania Furnace, the daughter of the late George Washington and Ida May Keller Koch. On Aug. 25, 1934, she married John Ross Kessinger who survives in State College.

Mrs. Kessinger was a 1931 graduate of State College High School. She was a secretary in the agronomy department at Penn State University and the organist at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Grove Mills before leaving State College in 1934. She and her husband returned to State College in 1996 after having lived 63 years in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey where she continued her close association with the Lutheran church. At the time of her death she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Grove Mills.

In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by three sons, Thomas Louis of Vincentown, John Ross Jr. of Williamstown, MD and Joseph Ross of Marietta, GA; one daughter, Etta Jean Hoover of Rochester Hills, MI; three sisters, Kathryn Shoemaker, Helen Taylor and Charlotte Sarson, all of State College; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by the Koch Funeral Home, State College. A memorial service will be held on July 13 at 11 a.m at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove Mills, with the Rev. Robert Rohrbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Mills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookline Hospice, 3901 S. Atherton St., State College, PA 16801.
