Farmingdale's 4th grade lacrosse team recently tied Wantagh Seaford.

Farmingdale opened the 1st quarter with goals by Ian Ozgercin and Andrew Kohlman. Ian had one goal, and he assisted on Kohlman's goal. Kyle Hoglund added the 3rd goal with an assist by Lenny Mormino early in the 2nd quarter.

Wantagh/Seaford scored their 1st goal in the 2nd quarter to leave the score 3-1 at the half.

Hoglund added Farmingdale's 4th goal in the 3rd quarter. With the score 4-2, Wantagh/Seaford scored twice in the 4th quarter with the last goal coming with 12 seconds remaining in the game.

Farmingdale's goalies Joe Hegman, who played the 1st half, and Andrew Kohlman, who played the 2nd half, played great - each making six saves. The defense was anchored by Lenny Mormino, Patrick Santoro, Kevin Sheehan, and Jordan Mosca (who also had 7 ground balls and 1 assist on the day).
