Farmingdale's 3rd grade lacrosse team recently beat Huntington 9-5, thanks largely to a great 2nd half effort by goalie Brendan Johnson.

Joe Bagnasco had five goals, and Rich D'Amico, Dylon Ryan, Mike McPartland, and John Olbeter each had a goal.

Also recently, the two Farmingdale 3rd grade teams played each other to an exciting 7-7 tie. Matthew Kessler did an excellent job in goal. Dave Aitchison and Rob Winant handled the ball very well for the attack. Joe Dervin, Edmund Keogh, and Dylan Ryan showed that good hustle pays off by keeping the ball in their end. Tough defense by Jamie McCabe, Tim Kelly, Peter Ostrander, and Keith Kandora proved to be the big difference in the close scoring game.
