I would like to take this opportunity to thank your many readers for the confidence they have placed in me in electing me as their State Senator.

I believe that this overwhelming victory is a clear message that the people of the Eighth Senatorial District want me to carry on Senator Levy's legacy as a powerful advocate for women and hard working families, and to continue the policies begun by Governor Pataki and the Senate Republican Majority of cutting taxes, creating jobs, improving education, and increasing penalties for violent criminal offenders.
