Over 70 people gathered at Quaker Meeting House in Farmingdale Sunday to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Bethpage Friends Meeting, one of America's oldest religious congregations.

Many residents of Sullivan Road and nearby streets left a village planning board hearing Monday night tired and frustrated after an architect presented revised plans to build a senior housing complex behind their homes. On Saturday, March 14, the Farmingdale Youth Council hosted the 38th Annual Physical Fitness Meet at the Senior High School. Approximately 120 students in grades four through eight participated in the events of sit-ups, side step, shuttle run, standing long jump, flexed arm hang (girls) and pull-ups (boys).
