On Friday, Dec. 12, the Senior Citizens of Farmingdale, Inc. were given a wonderful treat by the Farmingdale High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America. They are a student club at the Farmingdale High School, headed by their advisors, Stacey Glazer and Donna Scheurer.
The Holiday Party was enjoyed by all the senior citizens at our meeting room in the Farmingdale Library. These students are to be commended for all the time and effort they put into this event. They brought in all kinds of desserts, homemade and store-bought and served them to us. Also, there were beautiful poinsettias given as gifts.
These are young people to be admired and greatly appreciated, for they are our future. We hope that they will be as happy the rest of their lives as they made all of us that day. Our heartfelt thanks to the Future Business Leaders of America and to their advisors.
