Frederick T. James, of Farmingdale, died on Nov. 25, 1997. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a retired NYC Police Officer, He also worked in commercial real estate. Husband of Eileen. Father of Bruce, Brian , Mark and Sharon. Grandfather of Christopher, Gianna, Justin, Jeremy, Ashley and Samantha. Arrangements were made by the James Funeral Home, Massapequa. Michael P. Palumbo

Michael P. Palumbo, 71, of N. Massapequa, passed away on Dec. 10, 1997. No accomplishment is greater recognized than his success as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Married to Helen for 48 years, the two were the center of a close family united by their love. His children, Michelle Bartone and Thomas Palumbo, and his granchildren Anthony and Danielle Bartone have lost their greatest friend. He will forever be remembered by all those whose lives he touched. We'll miss you papa. Arrangements were made by the James Funeral Home, Massapequa.
