  • NEWS BRIEF: Escapades on Ice Dec. 22 Only

  • NEWS BRIEF: Hearing Scheduled for Special Permit in Bethpage

    A special use permit to operate a hotel in Bethpage will be subject of a Tuesday, Jan. 20, public hearing by the Oyster Bay Town Board, according to Town Councilman Joseph D. Muscarella.

    "The applicants, Extended Stay Management, Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corporation, are seeking a special use permit to operate a 104-room, three story hotel," Councilman Muscarella said. "The property is located in 'G' business and 'H' industrial zones on South Oyster Bay Road, approximately 1,667 feet south of Stewart Avenue in Bethpage."

    The meeting will be held in the Hearing Room of Town Hall East, Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay. Beginning at 7 p.m., the regular town calendar, including the above-mentioned hearing, will be called. Following the regular town business, the Town Board will be available to listen to public comment on any subject.
