Harold W. Hickish

Harold W. Hickish, 81, of Mauldin, SC formerly of Farmingdale, died on Nov. 5, 1997. He studied agriculture and chemistry at Rutgers University and worked on chemical warfare research at at US Army base in Maryland during WWII. Mr. Hickish was a professor of agriculture production technology at the State University and Technical Institute in Farmingdale (State College of Technology at Farmingdale). He also taught science in the Farmingdale middle schools from 1958 to 1979. Mr. Hickish was a member of the Bethpage Masonic Lodge. Husband of Helen (Hubbard). Father of Joan Derylak and Carol Casserly. Brother of Phyllis Eardly, Audrey Hickish and Ina Jane Hickish. Grandfather of four. Interment in South Carolina.


Josephine A. Chimera

Josephine A. Chimera, of Bethpage, died on Nov. 9, 1997. Wife of Frank. Mother of Patricia Ricci. Grandmother of Lori Ricci. Sister of Daniel Valerio and the late Ann D'Amico. Loretta Hendrickson

Loretta Hendrickson, of Farmingdale, died on Nov. 9, 1997. Wife of Charles F. Mother of Charles, Caroline, Frank, Margaret, Barbara, Richard and Mary. Ruth M. Laverty

Ruth M. Laverty, of Bethpage, died on Nov. 18, 1997. A concert pianist and dedicated church musician, she taught music at New York City High School. Friend of Carol G. Dort.
