Fun at Newton Shows

Did you know that Long Island has a large carnival operation? Until a friend of mine called my attention to Newton Shows, headquartered in East Northport, I had no idea. The family run business does amazing work with not-for-profit organizations throughout Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. And they have done it for over 60 years!

Let me explain just what they do. If you are a not-for-profit organization, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Church, Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, school or some form of social service agency, Newton Shows will partner with you and help raise money for your organization. Newton Shows comes to your site and can set up over 50 rides, and games along with other attractions for family fun. Over the years, they have partnered with over one thousand organizations to help raise funds for good purposes.

Looking ahead, here are just a few of the organizations Newton Shows will be working with in July and August – The Merrick Fire Department, St. Rose of Lima School Annual Family Festival, Italian American Citizens Club and Nassau County at Christopher Morley Park.

The Newton Shows work with their partner in every respect. They help in the planning of events and also work with you on promoting the event. On their website, Newton Shows state, P.T. Barnum said it best, “Without promotion something terrible happens – Nothing.” In addition, they offer diversity in the size of events they stage. From fireworks to shows for children, they really do produce pure fun and fantasy.

Another feature Newton Shows offers is public relations support so that your event will leave a safe and lasting positive impact in the community. With very happy people leaving the fairgrounds, the word does spread quickly.

On the Newton shows website – www.NewtonShows.com – you can find much detail about this organization and other places you could see the show in real time action. I particularly enjoyed the video which explained the history of Newton Shows and several endorsements which were very sincere.

Again, I have to say that I was amazed as I explored the website. It was very professional and informative. I urge you to take a look when you have a chance. The family fun is clear. And Mike Newton told me, “Our customers look to us to provide safe, wholesome family fun outdoors. Starting with our Dad, Lewis, fun has been a Newton family tradition.”
