On Sept. 13 at 2:30 p.m. some of the region's greatest equestrian athletes will compete in an exciting Polo match at the Meadowbrook Polo Club in Old Westbury to support the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. In addition, there will be an amazing car raffle that will send one lucky winner home with a two-year lease to a Range Rover Sport vehicle, courtesy of Long Island Land Rover Centres.

During the day, spectators will enjoy the thrill of the "Game of Kings," in the midst of a lovely setting that includes an array of activities for children and adults. Bring your appetite, as you will enjoy an authentic Argentine "Asado" barbecue, donated by Café Buenos Aires of Long Island. Other highlights include a hat judging contest, musical entertainment, traditional divot stomp, jumping exhibition and pony rides for the youngsters. "This event promises to be a great success," said Robert Weitzner, house president. "Along with the great polo action -- the raffle prizes and activities will certainly make it fun for the entire family and it is all for a great cause."

Tickets to the event are $150 for adults; $50 each for children ages 13 to 20, and free of charge to children 12 and under. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Raffle tickets may be purchased by cash or check and are $25 each or five for $100.
