Owen Costello has once again compiled a photo essay of our beloved local veterans. This year 12 members of the PWFD submitted photographs, three of whom were wounded in action and awarded the Purple Heart Medal.

Owen has requested that we make a special thank you to Ms. Christina Alexander of the PWFD business office as she was instrumental in contacting and collecting the photographs and some of the necessary information from the vets.

Please try to come down to the band shell for Port's observance of Veterans Day and help the town honor these local heroes. - JP
