Playoff time is upon us.... and Schreiber is well represented...... County championships and girls tennis are seemingly synonymous. The team captured its second successive county championship last week with a 6-1 victory over Jericho. The team moves on to the Long Island Championships on Nov. 4... Congrats!.. The boys cross country team captured their second successive conference championship last weekend and qualified for the county meet this Saturday at Bethpage State Park...look for them on News 12's the RUSH on Sunday again...Sweet senior tribute for girls volleyball last week. The team is hosting a Class AA quarterfinal game in Schreiber's gym, Wednesday the 26th..... also on the 26th our boys soccer team is hosting a playoff quarterfinal game at the turf at 3 p.m.. Should they win, they move on to Mitchel Field on Sunday (yes, Sunday) Nov. 2. Check the athletic web site for exact times. There will be admission charged for that game...Varsity football has its final regular season game on the turf this Saturday at 3 p.m. This is the senior game. Come out early and you will see 27 boys (and their parents) being honored before the game... all good stuff... see you around the fields (for a little longer!).
